2023 Rodney Merlot

Our flagship Merlot. Produced only in select vintages this is a stunning example of what 2017 had to offer. A medium bodied wine that displays both opulence and elegance. Ripe plum and blueberry characters imbued with beautifully balanced toasty elements from a year in New French oak barrels. Soft spice and a little earthiness make this wine a keeper. Slow cooked leg of lamb is a must. Drinking now but this wine would definitely benefit from a few years in the cellar.
