2022 Chicken Shed Chardonnay

An excellent example of a lightly oaked Hunter Chardonnay. Matured for six months in old french oak barrels to produce a well balanced delicious wine with subtle lime and melon/fig characters with just a hint of toastiness. The Hunter's classic white! Hand picked in late January, this wine is showing a lovely tight acid structure with an abundance of strong lemon and lime characters. Best consumed on hot days accompanied by 1kg of fresh Crystal Bay King prawns. Enjoy this wine whilst young and zesty or cellar up to 8 years.
